U.S.S. Carl Vincent to be Upgraded

The U.S.S. Carl Vincent is currently in port at Newport Virginia and will be upgraded shortly with the latest modern military technology, making it the most advanced Nimitz-class ship in the U.S. Navy. This outfitting will prepare it for the next twenty-five years and will raise the bar for all other ships to work hard to attain in order to compete against this inspiring carrier and her crew. Many advances have been made in technology, which allow for new and more efficient equipment and techniques to be added onto the U.S.S. Carl Vincent. For the sailors of the Carl Vincent, this will be a prideful event, seeing their home and ship transformed into the pride of the fleet that will pave the way for the 21st century to enhance the Navy and all that it has to offer the United States and its inhabitants. The nuclear power source will also be upgraded and refueled, making it more efficient and powerful. Although the Carl Vincent is already twenty-five years old, it has another twenty-five to go and is a first class ship with a crew that proudly bears the name of the U.S.S. Carl Vincent.
