Interpreting Allies and Enemies

After joining the Navy, you’ll enter training where you’ll learn what it takes to be a world-class sailor in one of the most elite organizations in the world. Then, you’ll begin advanced training where you’ll study your language of choice for up to one year. You’ll then enter the Navy as a full-fledged member where you’ll handle and interpret high classified information from both US allies and enemies. Civilian Life

When you’re finished with your tour of duty in the military, you’ll be qualified to work as an interpreter for any organization at home or abroad that needs one, or you can teach your language by enrolling in the Troops to Teachers Program.
