US Navy: Navy Exchange

The Navy exchange has been set up by the Navy exchange service command in 1946. its mission is to provide its customer in the US Navy, Navy Reserve, the family members, retirees, national guard etc. many quality goods and services.

Seventy percent of the profits that are generated from the sale at the Navy exchange are ploughed back into the organization for the benefit of the sailors of the Navy and those serving in the Navy Reserve. The remaining thirty percent is utilized in making new stores and providing other benefits.

It employs over 16,000 people in its various locations across the United States and overseas. All the programs of Navy Exchange are geared towards providing benefits to those serving in the Naval forces.

Jobs can be easily located using the site Career builder in the Navy Exchange. The site of Career builder is an extremely user-friendly site and jobs across United States in various categories can be easily located.

The Naval exchange program is also a principle source in keeping our naval forces battle ready and worthy. It is divided into five business units, which are Retail Stores and services, navy Lodges, Navy Uniform program, Ship Store program and Telecommunications.

Over the last fifty years, it has contributed more than $2 billion to the MWR programs. It is a part of the Naval Supply Systems commands providing the forces with quality supplies and services. From shifting the personal effects of those employed in the armed forces to providing hair-cutting salons, it’s a one-stop shop for all.
