You may also be responsible for training other personnel in safety and security measures or conduct criminal investigations involving Navy personnel or investigate crimes which take place on Navy property. The military law enforcement training provided by the US Navy teaches you self-discipline, professionalism, and leadership, all of which can help you find a job in the private sector. This training will serve you well in a career as a police officer, corrections officer, security analyst, or private investigator. Your Navy training may also count as credits toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in law enforcement.
