Find Out How to Make the Most of Your JD Degree in the US Navy

Recent graduates from law programs around the country are lining the sidewalks and benches of many legal libraries, armed to do battle with research. But not Navy lawyers! Lawyers accepted by the Judge Advocate General’s Corps go to battle every day in courtrooms across the globe.

There’s Never Been a Better Time to Join the US Navy

It’s no secret that the economy is in a slump. There are five graduates for every job opening and the competition is fierce. But not in the US Navy! The JAG Corps is accepting applications to join the ranks of some of the most recognized and well-respected attorneys practicing law today. JAG lawyers prosecute court martials, provide legal counseling and a variety of other legal services to sailors and their dependants, prepare defense strategies for sailors and the US Navy itself as well as become involved in international, environmental and maritime matters. JAG Corps attorneys undergo a rigorous, post-degree training program that allows them to focus on the issues surrounding military justice. If you think you have what it takes to become a JAG Corps lawyer, click here to find out more.
