Experienced Physicists Wanted For The US Navy

Are you a trained and educated physicist? Are you looking for a career opportunity that is more challenging than your current position? How would you like to have access to the biggest research and development budget available in the world? Instead of pinching pennies and begging for grants, you could be given free rein as a Physicist in the United States Navy.

As a Navy Physicist, you will earn a competitive salary, excellent benefits, a great retirement package and the opportunity to work with some of the greatest minds in physics today. In addition, you will have access to the expertise of other specialists, state-of-the-art training and world travel, all at the expense of the Navy.

More Than Just Military Benefits

In order to attract their very best in your field, the Navy is prepared to pay off up to $40,000 of your graduate school loans, as well as provide you with a salary and benefits. Officers’ pay starts at $24,000 but, after only 4 years, at O6, you can be earning over $78,500 in addition to receiving free housing, full medical and dental benefits, a food and clothing allowance, free and discounted travel and entertainment and paid vacations. Obviously, these benefits will all but double your income.

If that weren’t enough, you and your family will enjoy the peace of mind you can only get from living in a traditional American community, regardless of where you may be stationed. Picnics, parades and sporting events will make up your weekends as you build your savings, your retirement and your resume.

Head And Shoulders Above The Rest

As a Physicist, you know all too well that the Average Joe on the street could never do your job. At the same time, there are a limited number of corporations that can afford your skills. As a Navy Physicist, your career will head for the stars with access to the best training and work experience available.

Whether you decide to stay and make the military your career or return to the civilian sector once your service agreement is completed, your time in the Navy will be well spent. No civilian competitor will be able to beat the work experience you will gain with the Navy. If you decide to transition back to civilian life, the Navy will provide you with relocation funds, resume writing and interview skills training and experiences that will qualify you for the best civilian jobs available.

It Doesn’t Hurt To Ask

Even if you are not currently seeking employment, it certainly can’t hurt to call and speak with a recruiter about your options. You may discover that a career with the Navy is exactly what you have been looking for. Ask questions, take notes and collect the data you need to make an informed decision.

Once you have the necessary information, you can decide for yourself if a career with the Navy will provide you with the personal and professional challenges that come with a military career. To find out more about how the Navy can help enhance your career in Physics click HERE.
